Kim Purcell is the author of Write a Novel in 100 Days, Trafficked, and This Is Not a Love Letter. Her critically acclaimed YA novels have been recognized by Kirkus Reviews, NPR, Mighty Girl Books, and Bank Street College. This Is Not a Love Letter was named one of NPR’s Best Books of 2018. Trafficked, her debut novel, was a Bank Street Best Book and appeared on several state award lists, including the Eliot Rosewater, South Carolina, Missouri Gateway, and South Dakota YA reading lists. A Canadian and American writer and teacher, Kim is the founder of Purcell Publishing, The Busy Writer Workshop, and Kim Purcell’s Story Studio. Besides writing her own novels, she runs an international company that helps writers of all ages write and publish their books. For fun, she loves reading, long-distance swimming, rowing, and dancing.
