Uwe Freund

Uwe Freund was born in Hanau, Germany in 1965 and studied Politics, German Literature and Psychology in Frankfurt am Main and Munich. Already as a student he worked as a freelance journalist for various newspapers and magazines. His first books, software products and CD-ROMs were published in 1989, with more than 1 million copies sold to date such as "Die Geburtstagszeitung" (The Birthday Newsletter) and "Die Hochzeits- und Partyzeitung" (The Wedding and Party Newsletter).

Many of his publications have been translated into English, French and other languages, for example "The Complete Newsletter" or "Le Journal de Naissance".

Uwe Freund is a communications instructor and has been holding courses in the areas of written communication, time management and work organisation, as well as meeting management and facilitation since 1989. He launched a new series in 2011 with books, eBooks and apps focusing on communication, e.g. "Correspondence Training: Writing Style Update for Letters and E-mails” in German, and “Time Management and Self-Management” in German and English.

He also publishes quick reference guides, e.g. "Punctuation and Spelling” in German and "A Dictionary of First Names” in German and French.
