Darrell Clifton

Darrell Clifton, CPP has been in the operations side of hospitality for over 33 years. Managing security in hotel, restaurants, nightclubs, bars, casinos, and event venues provided the experience needed to write two editions of this book and collaborate on many others. He now lends his ideas and opinions to the corporate world and legal profession as an expert, trainer, writer and consultant on all things Hospitality.

Darrell specializes in Risk Analysis, Policy Writing, Premises Liability, Nightclub Security, Dram Shop Laws, Crowd Management, Workplace Violence and Active Shooter.

He teaches internationally and at the University of Reno, Nevada. He is also a courtroom expert on these and other topics, providing training and guidance to those organizations interested in tapping into his diverse and extensive experience. In addition to the books featured here, Darrell contributes to several publications on a host of hospitality-related topics.
