Tom Hicks

Tom Hicks was born in 1954, one hundred years after the death of his beloved Thoreau, and grew up in his own Walden near Norris Lake in East Tennessee. Tom is an entrepreneur and has been involved in the recycling business for more than 35 years. He is an actor, director, and producer in local theater and a speaker about spiritual issues in the modern age. He has been involved in ten book and play projects, several film projects, and the role of the arts in education. His characters "Tommy Typical" and "Hickey" which is in fact are alter egos appear in five of his works and explore the sacred nature of everyday life on Planet Earth and Beyond.
