Neil Withnell

Following the completion of his school education Neil commenced his nurse training in mental health, and qualified as a registered mental health nurse in 1988. He then worked within acute mental health in both Oldham and Rochdale prior to making the transition to nurse education. Neil moved to the University of Salford in 2003 where he worked as Lecturer, Senior Lecturer and now as Associate Dean Student Experience. His clinical interests include Family Interventions, Psychosocial Interventions and Cognitive Behaviour Therapy. His teaching interests include technology enhanced learning, social media and creative aproaches to teaching.
