Javier Mozas

Javier Mozas is an architect and an urbanist from the Escuela Técnica Superior de Arquitectura in Madrid (ETSAM). He runs Mozas+Aguirre arquitectos in Vitoria-Gasteiz (Spain) together with Eduardo Aguirre, and he forms part of a+t research group. Javier Mozas and the journalist Aurora Fernández Per are responsible for wide research on collective housing, density, mixed use buildings and public space included in a+t publications.

Mozas and Fernández Per (a+t research group) are the authors of the Density series books -Dbook, Density Condensed, Density Projects, HoCo, Next, Density is Home, Why Density? and Form&Data -, which became a reference for publications about collective housing worldwide.

They have lectured at numerous Universities, Institutions and International Workshops, like the Graz University of Technology's Dense Cities symposium and the Master´s Degree in Collective Housing of the Escuela Técnica Superior de Arquitectura in Madrid.
