Conchita Vecchio

A native New Yorker, Conchita Vecchio has lived in Italy for 30 years, and half of those in Sicily, the land of her forbears. An educator and tour guide, her first book about Sicily was published in 2011. She is currently researching material for her next two books, respectively, on the town of Licata during Operation Husky, and on the cultural legacy left by the Jewish people in Sicily.
