Pat Cher holds a Master’s Degree in Education from McGill University, specializing in Curriculum Development. A native of Bathurst, New Brunswick, Pat’s writing is deeply influenced by the diverse Canadian landscapes she has called home—from the coastal beauty of the Maritimes to the vibrant culture of Montreal and her current residence in Ottawa.
As a retired educator, Pat has dedicated her second act to the arts and the preservation of heritage. Her work is often inspired by her own ancestry, including the discovery of her Mi’kmaq roots through her great-grandmother. Her published works on Amazon reflect her multifaceted interests in historical fiction, children’s storytelling, and family legacies.
When she isn’t weaving stories, Pat is a prolific visual artist. She captures the world’s beauty through watercolours and the fluid textures of alcohol inks, often depicting the northern skies and trees. A lifelong learner, she also enjoys web design and sharing her passion for low-calorie culinary creativity.
