Ken Weaver

Ken Weaver is a professional beer writer based in Sonoma County, California. His first book, The Northern California Craft Beer Guide, was named a finalist for an NCIBA Book of the Year Award in 2013. RateBeer Weekly, his digital newsletter with internationally influential RateBeer.com, reaches over 80,000 active subscribers twice a week (in over 160 countries). His work can be found in places like All About Beer, DRAFT, McSweeney's Internet Tendency, and Saveur. Ken received his MFA in creative writing from the University of Maryland—College Park and (even if he's since forgotten most of it...) his M.S. in particle physics from Cornell.

He is currently at work on his first novel, part of a series. Not surprisingly, it involves beer.
