Sheri Powell has just released her fourth book 'God's Got It Don't Worry About Anything'.

For over forty years, Sheri has been filling her journals with her prayers

and thoughts. God’s Got It gives us a peek into her father’s journals.

His writing reveals his hidden feelings that have allowed Sheri to heal

from her loss.

Sheri has been blessed to have appeared on several television and radio programs. Sheri has written articles and been featured in several magazines including Today's Business Woman, Southern Writers Magazine, and Handmaidens in the Marketplace Magazine, and she writes monthly articles that are published and featured on the Pausing With God website (www.PausingWithGod.com).

Though Sheri is an ordained minister, possessing several degrees and a Certified Christian Counselor; she does not let degrees or titles define her. God has given her a slideshow of her life. In it, the Spirit of the Lord God is upon her, and the LORD has anointed her to preach good tidings unto the meek. He continues to send her to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, to open the prison to them who are bound … and to comfort all who mourn (Isaiah 61:1-3 & Luke 4:18-19).

Sheri has an extensive background and over 40 years experience in volunteering and mentorship with inner-city children, youth ministry, the Boys & Girls Club, and various women’s groups. Sheri lives and breathes to simply do God’s will. With an inherent desire to Share the Lord with People, Sheri founded and created the SLP Company. Its goal is to share available resources that can help willing participants be all that God has created them to be. Sheri is also the founder of Pausing With God Ministries (PausingWithGod.com) a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization whose mission is to engage, encourage, and empower women.

Sheri is married and has five adult children, three grands, and a host of sister-friends in uttermost parts of the world.
