Michael Thompson

Mike is a new fiction author, having retired from years in medical healthcare. Now, he seeks to share stories, sometimes of the paranormal, that help us question the possibility of what else is around us. The short stories are told in an anthology called Stories to Sleep On, meant just long enough to be read at bedtime or to be reflected on over time. His first Novella, A Spirited Adventure, is couched in real history about a diamond necklace of Marie Antoinette and how it came to Rome. It is full of intrigue and introduces the likable couple who become close as they work on the mystery.

Mike now spends his retirement years with his wife Debby in Michigan and Arizona, sometimes dog sitting for old Yorkie Charlie, his son's dog. He enjoys his poor game of golf and had been a potter for 25 years. Some of his pieces are in various art shops throughout Michigan. He counts his blessings daily for the wonderful life he as with Debby, his family of two sons and six grandchildren, and his friends.
