Don't Hide From the Night was named a 2026 Semifinalist for Best YA novel by the Kindle Book Review.

Seeds for this novel were planted the summer of 2001 when I won a Virginia Fiction Fellowship and traveled across the pond to London. Thank you taxpayers.

The Last Government Girl, an historical novel set in WWII Washington, DC, won the Maryland Writer's Prize for Best Novel and was published by AH Loyola University Press.

My short stories have won more than 10 awards including a PEN Fiction. My short story collection, Falling Women and Other Stories, was published by a small Canadian publisher, now defunct.
