Jason Hunt’s love for the outdoors, shaped by a lifetime of hunting, fishing, and camping, drives his work as founder and chief instructor of Campcraft Outdoors. Jason has worked with National Geographic Television, prepped survivalists for Naked & Afraid, Alone, and Outlast, and hosted a faith-based outdoor series on WBNA-TV21. His writing appears in Survivor’s Edge, Backwoods Survival Guide, and Prepper’s Survival Guide, while his books—The Gospel of Survival, Unveiled Truths, and Bushcraft First Aid—inspire globally. An ordained minister with theology and outdoor ministry degrees, Jason blends faith and survival, teaching through Biblical Festivals. His expertise in survival, wilderness living, and austere medicine is backed by elite training, and as a martial arts master, he holds multiple black belts.
