Julie Benson

After receiving a bachelors degree in Sociology from the University of Texas at Dallas, Julie Benson worked as a caseworker until she stayed home with her first of three sons. Then, to challenge her mind and preserve her sanity, she pursued a writing career. After writing historical romance and romantic suspense novels that won’t see the light of day, Julie wrote a contemporary romance with a cowboy hero. That became Big City Cowboy, her first sale to Harlequin.

Now that her three sons have left the nest in Dallas, when not writing light-hearted contemporary western romances filled with friendship and humor set in small-town America, Julie works on home improvement projects, fosters dogs, and visits Texas wineries with her husband.
