Mark Kennedy

Mark Kennedy bought his first property in 1985 and then entered the real estate industry in 1991. He helped open his first mortgage company in 1993; and in 2000 he became a partner in one of the nation’s largest specialty mortgage companies. By 2005, he was being called upon to provide consulting services to banks and lenders nationwide that needed his expertise in marketing, customer service and process management.

Over the course of two decades, he has helped thousands of individuals and families buy or build their dream homes. Often, his clients come to him with credit issues or other problems that caused them to be previously denied loans. His expertise and willingness to take on the bureaus at their own game created credit approvals and helped his clients take their first steps to credit freedom. Additionally, Mr. Kennedy has bought, built, renovated, and sold over 1100 properties on his own and with his partners since 1985.

With his 20+ years as a real estate and financing professional, Mark has learned credit secrets that only a few industry insiders know (and even fewer share.

The first edition of How to Buy a House the Right Way was written in 2006 and has been updated in 2012 to reflect the changes in today’s market. As part of his Smart Living series, Mr. Kennedy has also written The Credit Repair Black Book (third edition, December 2011), which offers today’s most current information on credit repair and credit preservation – all while continuing to expose the myths and secrets of the credit bureaus.
