Thank you for visiting my writer's page! I've been writing for as long as I can remember -- in sixth grade, I wrote a parody of "Star Wars" that caught the attention of a teacher, who sent me to a young writer's workshop. As a teenager, I was inspired by Stephen King and John Irving.

Professionally, I served for six years as a journalist with the United States Navy. As a freelance writer I have contributed to Blogcritics.org, Helium.com and Examiner.com

My first novel, "Awake," is the fulfillment of a dream I've had since I was 16 to finish a novel.
