Jackie McGregor

Jackie McGregor has been a newspaper columnist for almost 3 decades.

She began with a column in The Mirror in 1998, and has been writing her current 'Jackie's World' column for The Belfast News Letter, since 2005.

An award winning poet, she spent 15 years as a copywriter for the greetings card industry.

Also a playwright, Jackie spent a year as writer-in-residence at a Belfast theatre school.

Her charity books with publisher Hachette/Headline, were written in tribute to her late parents, who both died from Alzheimer's disease.

Jackie donates 100% of her royalties from her books to the Alzheimer's Society.

She is currently writing her first novel.
