Known as one of the 'OG' pet photographers who started in the industry when it was in it's infancy, Jamie launched her professional pet photography business in Seattle in 2003. From 2003-2014 Jamie shot for a combination of private, commercial and editorial clients before making the move to shooting exclusively for commercial clients.
From 2008-2012 Jamie taught workshops to over 150 budding pet photographers in cities around the United States, as well as lectured at events, did consulting, ran a forum and did other pet photography teaching, which she continued until 2015 when she turned her full focus to the commercial side of photography.
Jamie helped pave the way for others to establish their own careers, and is largely considered one of the foremost leaders in the pet photography industry.
Like the dogs she photographs, Jamie believes life is best lived playing, sleeping, eating, loving, daydreaming, having regular adventures and being sure to feel plenty of joy every single day. "A Picture is Worth a Thousand Woofs"™!
