Charles Seper began writing in the early 1980s doing record reviews for the now defunct Vortexx Magazine. Since then he has written scores of articles about every subject under the sun from metaphysics to theology. His book, C. S. Lewis Called Him Master (Exploring the Life & Adult Fantasy Works of George MacDonald), originally written as a study guide for people struggling with the symbolism in MacDonald's fantasy works, has also become a sought out source for researchers and biographers of George MacDonald. His novelette, The Cistaphasmatis, harkens back to the likes of Poe, Lovecraft, and Charles Williams in an account of a young man's experiments in the dark arts and his priest-friend who has the means to stop his young friend from being trapped in "the void."
Seper lives in Southern Illinois where he studied computers at Southwest Illinois College during the 80s after turning down an appointment to West Point during a tour in the Army in the late 70s.
