David Kentish

David Kentish is an Australian storyteller inspired by the vast landscapes, coastline, and history of Western Australia. Raised on a dairy farm south of Perth, David developed a love of storytelling from his father’s imaginative bush tales long before television reached rural communities.

After years in farming, business, and extensive travel throughout the Australian outback, David began transforming his experiences and fascination with Australian history into fiction. His works span Australian adventure, maritime fiction, bush storytelling, mythology, and family history.

In Babington's Treasure Map, David combines his passion for the sea, Western Australia’s rugged coastline, and naval lore to deliver a compelling historical maritime adventure of coded secrets and buried treasure.

David and his wife Barbara continue to travel Australia, where the landscapes and stories of the land continue to inspire future works.

David has many other works in the pipeline so keep a look out for more stories by David Kentish.
