Joyce Slobogian

Born Giusepa Pelican in Vrin, a small village in the Swiss mountains, Joyce Slobogian was always a voracious reader and started writing poetry and articles as a teenager. As a young woman she married a Canadian and immigrated to his country. She is the mother of three grown children and has published articles and short stories in many newspapers and magazines in Canada, Britain, the US, Australia and South Africa. In 2008 she published her first novel, To Die For, and is going to publish a second novel in the same series within this coming year. The author is currently working on a third book in the series.

Joyce is fluent in English, German and Romansh. She has always been an animal lover and happily shares her home in Brandon, Manitoba, Canada, with her two cats, Garfield and Smudge.
