John Joseph Lemoncelli

Hello, I am John Lemoncelli. I am a Psychologist licensed by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvaania and also a Licensed Profesional Counselor. I had a part-time private practice for almost 30 years where I specalized in the treatment of victims of childhood abuse and trauma and members of the clergy. I have been and continue to be employed as a full professor at Maywood University in the Graduate Department of Counseling and Psychology for over 25 years.

I wrote this book to tell the stories of so many of my patients with the goal of having their stories bring the reality that one need not remain a victim. I also wrote this book to tell the victims of abuse/trauma that there is much hope for recovery, and to educate family,friends, therapists and the general public about the horrible effects abuse/trauma has on its victims.
