Hi I am Anna, I live in Yorkshire, England. I have been writing for some years for fun. I published my first story in 2011 and have 8 stories currently available on Amazon. All my new work is about love and relationships. There are a couple of full-length Sci-Fi tales written in my younger days.

My latest full-length story is "Smile Of A Stranger." When Garry’s wife, the lovely Caroline, left him for another man, it hit him hard. Their teenage son Matthew was suffering too, he hated his mother. Not just for leaving them, but for other reasons going back years. If he knew the secret she was keeping about him, he would hate her even more.

Previously, I had penned "Stephanie" about a woman who has the ability to get the best from her staff and encourage them to become high achievers, as indeed she is. At work she is confident and dynamic, has the respect of her staff and is well liked by her superiors. But, in her private life she is far from confident or dynamic. When she falls in love with a stranger, will it last, or is she heading for a fall?

I have also combined 3 shorter stories into one book called "Anna's Trio."

Story 1 - "Awakening of Thomas" is the story of a young man's sexual awakening during a cycling holiday on the Isle of Skye in the Scottish Hebrides. It is about young love, temptation, and coming to terms with the consequences.

Story 2 - "Stolen Life." When Daniel Williamson boarded a train to visit his brother in London for a rock concert, he had no idea what fate had in store for him. His terrifying experience that day changed his life forever, but at what cost? His young travelling companion was soon to find out...with tragic consequences.

Story 3 - "Rush Hour Romance" is about young love, plain and simple. When a young boy starts work and travels each day on a bus, he is bored, but his boredom is soon interrupted. Likewise, when a young girl starts work on the same day and travels on the same bus, she notices the boy. Are they going to talk to each other? Will they go out on a date? Are they too shy? But, who is it who plans to ruin his life?

The first story I published was called "The Cemetery" which is as is a Sensual, Supernatural, Story of Love about a widower who visits his wife's grave and experiences a supernatural occurrence that changes his life forever.

"The Onslaught Cycle." A Race against Time. I first wrote The Onslaught Cycle in 1981 and have now updated it. Due to the timeless nature of the story I have kept it set in 1981 but it is literally a race against time. When I originally developed the novel I was sure the hero and heroine saved the world. Since re-visiting the story, I am not sure. Have a read and see what you think!

"The Grieving Entity." A Global Epidemic of Suicides. This story was also originally written in 1981 and has been updated. It is set in the future, well into the future. Inter planetary and inter stellar travel is commonplace. Even inter galactic journeys are possible. It is a love story on more than one level and traces the relationships of 4 people and ends with the ultimate sacrifice in the name of love.
