Kate Trinity

Born in 1977 in Middlesbrough to a nurse and steam engine driver I had no idea what the world had in store for me. School, horses, university, writing was how it panned out. Lots of horses actually and I worked with them for ten years before deciding to further my education with a degree, and ended up getting two. It hasn't all been fun and games though and there are definitely some parts that I would like to rewrite.

When I am writing I let the characters tell me their story and follow them until the end, I have very little say but they do tend to take over my brain until their story has been told.

My poor editor has to put up with surprise stories that get sent to him via email when they are done, before I pester him every few days for updates. He is very good at finding inconsistencies and he has been nicknamed Teach as he goes into teacher mode and marks my story like it is an assignment. I am always surprised when he tells me he likes the story.
