Nick Roddy

Surfer, diver, traveller, cyclist, compulsive writer, bon vivant, alumnus of University of Wales Lampter ( which he still considers to be the worst experience of his life) and University of Bristol. Nick has lived in the Sahara, the rain forests in Asia, been held hostage by militants in Africa, survived a sinking oil rig, none of which were as traumatic as being and undergraduate.

Before discovering vegetarianism would eat anything that moved crawled or swam, he has always believed that the only way to discover and understand a culture is to live it, eat it and speak it, as a result he is multi lingual and has an eclectic taste in food stuffs. At one point in his life he tried to stop travelling and served for five years as a Police Officer which he still considers to be one of the most rewarding jobs he has ever had. Unfortunately there was still too much of the world he had not seen and he went back on the road. He tries to communicate this passion for life through his writing.
