Kim Bailey

Kim Bailey is a retired director of professional learning and instructional support for the Capistrano Unified School District in California. While in Capistrano Unified, her work focused on uniting and guiding educators throughout the district's 58 schools in their journey to becoming professional learning communities. As an author and consultant, Kim continues that focus, providing national training to support the development of effective leadership and collaborative teams. Her writing focuses on strategies that empower teams to use formative assessment and engage in the alignment of standards, assessments, interventions, and instruction.

In addition to her consulting work, Kim has also taught courses in educational leadership as an adjunct faculty member at Chapman University in Orange, California.
