"Unbridled: A Tale of a Divorce Ranch," my multi-award-winning first novel, is based on my personal experience obtaining a divorce during six weeks at Nevada's Pyramid Lake Ranch in 1951. As a professional artist for many decades, my fascination with Georgia O'Keeffe--particularly with her personality--resulted in the birth of my second novel, "The Ghost Painter," published in 2011. A paranormal thriller set in the art worlds of New York City and Santa Fe and Taos, New Mexico, "The Ghost Painter" weaves elements of the supernatural with the soul-stirring setting of the American Southwest, a subject I love to paint. Born in Maine, I studied fine art at Syracuse University and worked for six decades as a professional singer and actress. The widowed mother of five and grandmother of two, I am currently living, painting and writing in beautiful Phoenix, Arizona. For more information, please visit my website, http://www.MariluNorden.com
