Born and raised in Lewiston, Maine... I spent my childhood enjoying everything Maine had to offer. I grew up in a time before the internet and hundreds of tv channels to choose from. That allowed me to create a vivid imagination. I couldn't just read a book. I had to imagine the events unfolding as I read through each story. So if and when a book became a movie, it was never as good because the movie didn't match the visions I created in my head.

At eighteen, I enlisted in the US Army where I completed basic training in Ft. Sill, Oklahoma. I then was stationed at Ft. Ord, California for the duration of my enlistment. It was during that time away from Maine that I realized there was a great big world out there. So when I got out and went back to Maine, I realized it just wasn't the same anymore. I spent five years back in Lewiston, but then decided I needed a new adventure.

I convinced my sister to move with me to Phoenix, Arizona. I spent many years enjoying the scenery, weather, and people, until my life changed again and I found myself in Sweeny, Texas. Talk about a small town. It was there that I decided to put my imagination to work and started writing the story about Jason Stone. One short story turned into two, then three, and then a series of eight books.

But once those were in print, I became bored again and sat down to write another story. That was when Innocent Distraction came about. I went with a different style of writing, and the reactions I received from those who read it were very positive.

After my little detour, I find myself back in Phoenix and looking forward to writing more books. I hope to attract the attention to my next novels as I did with the last one.
