Gerry Beves

Gerry is an international speaker and teacher, with a 2:1 BA Hons in Biblical Theology with Greek and Hebrew, a PGDip in Old Testament studies, and an MA in Theology from Missio Dei, principally in Pentecostal Eschatology, which he is also studying for his PhD with Regents and Bangor University. He has been a believer for thirty years, and engaged in ministry for the majority of that, in evangelism, pastoral work, missions, church planting and, above all teaching theology and training potential ministers. He is Ministry Lead for Bible Studies on the Senior Leadership of Kings AoG Church Cambridge.

His heart is to raise the standard of academic study among Pentecostal Christians, because it has so strengthened his own faith in God’s Word. Pentecostals are well equipped with the ‘Latter Rain’ of the Spirit, to prepare the people of God for his soon return. However, there is a disconnect between the academy and the assembly, especially the people ‘in the pew’, which needs to be bridged, so that the academy can be both effective and useful so, above all, the congregations can be thoroughly equipped for every good work, to be effective in the Great Commission, and bring God’s Kingdom in, here on Earth.

He is married to Lena, and has two grown up children, Isabella and Obadiah.
