Daniel Cross Turner (Ph.D., Vanderbilt) has published three books to date: a scholarly monograph, Southern Crossings: Poetry, Memory, and the Transcultural South (Tennessee, 2012), a scholarly collection, Undead Souths: The Gothic and Beyond in Southern Literature and Culture (LSU, 2015), and a poetry anthology, Hard Lines: Rough South Poetry (South Carolina, 2016). He has also produced more than twenty essays in scholarly or literary journals, including Mosaic, Genre, Five Points, and Mississippi Quarterly, and in edited collections from Oxford, Cambridge, Continuum, and Routledge, among other prominent venues, in addition to numerous other publications.
