Pam is the Curator of the New England Quilt Museum. She is a state-juried member of the League of NH Craftsmen, and makes traditional and art quilts. For eight years she was the executive director of ABC Quilts in Northwood, NH. ABCQ‘s dual mission was to send handmade quilts to babies and young children around the world born HIV positive or drug affected.

She is a quilt historian and in 2010 published in Uncoverings, “One Foot Square, Quilted and Bound—a survey of potholder quilts”. Potholder quilts are constructed of individually finished blocks. In 2004, with Loretta Chase, Pam published a paper on signature quilts.

Pam is the co-author of Civil War Quilts with Don Beld, and Deeds Not Words, Celebrating 100 Years of Women's Suffrage with Sandra Sider
