Simon R. Clarke

Simon Clarke is a Professor of Philosophy and Associate Dean at the Asian University for Women, located in Bangladesh. He studied at the University of Auckland, New Zealand and received his doctorate from the University of Oxford. He has has also taught at the University of Canterbury (NZ) and the American University of Armenia. He is the author of Foundations of Freedom: Welfare-Based Arguments Against Paternalism (Routledge, 2012) as well as articles published in the Journal of Political Philosophy, Political Studies, Ethical Perspectives, Critical Review of International Social and Political Philosophy, and Journal of Applied Philosophy.
