Tom Ryker grew up on a small ranch in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains and enjoyed many childhood adventures working and exploring near his home. His love of the mountains has stayed with him and he can often be found there with his camera--usually miles off of the beaten path.

Tom's education in business management and information technology led him to a career in corporate America. During this time he also developed a passion for history, economics and politics. His love of storytelling and deep concern for the current state of the union prompted him to take a break from his career and write his first conspiracy thriller, "Defiance," book one in the "Fall of an Empire" series. He is currently writing book two, "Patriot's Blood."
