Steven Wunderink

Steve and his wife Frankie have been living in Cairo, Egypt since 2015. Steve has been doing research into how Ancient Egypt connects with Ancient Israel in the Bible.

Steve has a way of taking difficult concepts and and seemingly unrelated thoughts and putting them together to explain religious thought and life lessons. Due to his prolific reading and eclectic interests these lessons seem to come out of the blue.

Steve has a way of dropping a bomb at the beginning of his lectures and then going on to explain away the explosiveness of it so that by the end you are amazed that it is no longer radical but makes sense. A few examples: "The serpent was never in the garden" or "The cornerstone was never in the corner" or "Animals could talk before the fall" or "Moses never had a speech impediment" or "Genesis 1 and 2 creation narratives are about the temple" etc.

Steve is available for lectures on a variety of topics but his current books and research is on the Temple and how the Temple theme runs through the Bible and should guide our daily lives. Also Steve has written extensively on Creation and Chaos as it relates to scripture and was influenced by ANE thought.

Steve also is in demand for spiritual journey tours through Egypt where he will show you scripture on the walls of ancient Egypt.
