Marziah Karch

Marziah Karch takes a special delight in the challenge of explaining new gadgets and complex technology to beginning audiences. She is the author of multiple books on technology topics. Marziah was the Google Expert for About.com for 10 years and transitioned with the About.com tech team to Lifewire.com in 2015. She was a core contributor for the GeekMom blog in WIRED.com. Her articles have also appeared in WIRED magazine.

Marziah is a doctoral candidate interested in researching the information behavior of independent game designers. When she's not feeding her geek side with new gadgets or writing about technology, Marziah enjoys life in Portland, Oregon with her husband and two kids.
