Jil Plummer

Jil Plummer, a red haired Canadian born of Yorkshire parents, was educated in both British Columbia and England. She now lives near San Francisco with her border collie "Cap" with whom she hikes and competes in dog agility.

The idea for "Caravan to Armageddon", a mystery novel,came from a journey she and her late photographer husband took while filming a photo story of twenty foreign diplomats and their families as they travelled in Airstream trailers across the United States.

Throw in the aftermath of a pandemic,an extremely diverse group of people, a few murders, accidents, a love affair, a forbidden child,a saboteur and the stress of awaiting annihilation- and you have the recipe for suspense and a glimpse of the human spirit under the most stressful circumstances.

Jil also taught English to foreign adults for many years and is fascinated by how different people can be from when we first perceive them. This is one of the themes she likes to explore in all her novels.
