Jaye McKitrick started writing as a hobby for classmates and quickly realized that her hobby was her true love. Throughout school, she always made writing a priority.
Jaye released her first fictional book titled Two Beautiful Daughters in 2011. Broken Puppet was released in March 2013 and was her second book and her first non-fiction title. She earned much local acclaim from this book and was asked to do college radio spots, became a recognized local author by the Lorain Black River Historical Society, and wrote and produced her first public reading at Lorain County Community College in April 2013.
The release of her third title The Book of the Essence marked McKitrick's return to her fictional roots.
She currently works as a freelance journalist for The Chronicle-Telegram while marketing all three of her books on a constant basis and is working on a fourth book, The Messy World of Little Miss Molly- her first children's book.
