Connie Hannah

Connie Hannah was born in Gadsden, Alabama and was then raised in Georgia where she still resides. Connie is very proud of her Southern roots and is a true steel magnolia. Not only does she speak with a classic drawl, but she loves family, church, tennis, and fried chicken.

As a young child, Connie was adopted by her father and raised in a staunch Southern Baptist family. On the outside the family appeared happy, close knit, and were the poster family for the perfect Christain family. However, if you opened their tightly guarded closet doors, you would see abuse, mental illness, and just plain old crazy.

Connie currently lives in a small, classic Southern town north of Atlanta with her second husband and 10 year old twins.

"The Suitcase of Secrets" is Connie's debut novel and is based on the experiences of her life. The book is listed as historical fiction as she had to change names to protect those in her family and protect herself from being sued by, well you will figure that out once you read the book.

Connie also has a children's book "Peter's Purple Brain Pill" that should be released in the next 60 days.

So, if you want a good read that is a cross between Paula Deen and Pat Conroy, "The Suitcase of Secrets" is just the book for you! Hope you enjoy.
