Michael David Cohen

Michael David Cohen, a historian of nineteenth-century America, is a research professor at American University. Previously editor of the Correspondence of James K. Polk, he now edits the Correspondence of Zachary Taylor and Millard Fillmore. He earned a PhD from Harvard University and authored Reconstructing the Campus: Higher Education and the American Civil War.
