L. Robert Pyle

L. Robert Pyle was born in Wilmington, DE in 1946. He attended the University of Delaware for four years, was drafted before matriculation, then returned to the University to complete his degree in Mechanical Engineering in 1974. During his time in the Army, Mr. Pyle served in Germany, Korea, and several tours at Fort Bliss, TX. After the Army, Mr. Pyle worked in Pulp and Paper and the Chemical Industry for many years in Maintenance and Engineering. He has lived in Delaware(2X), Kentucky, Texas(5X), and Kansas.

As a short story writer, Mr. Pyle is a consistent contributor to "The Territorial" published in Garden City, KS for humor, travel and historical articles. He also has contributed to "Kansas Magazine," "Wild West Magazine," "High Adventure", and "Youth!"

Mr. Pyle is an eclectic writer using various genre, themes, and styles inlcuding Western, Christian, historical, historical fiction, humor, and allegory.
