John Stumbo

John Stumbo is an author, speaker, pastor, and ministry leader whose writing explores faith, suffering, healing, and the life of the Church. After 25 years in pastoral ministry, he served as president of the U.S. Christian and Missionary Alliance from 2013 to 2025.

His books include An Honest Look at a Mysterious Journey, In the Midst: Treasures from the Dark, God in You: A Conversation, A Stained Beauty: The Church Ancient and Present, and Once Upon a Time I Was Young: A Teen Devotional.

John and his wife, Joanna, have three grown children and five grandchildren. John continues to write and speak, encouraging readers to trust God through suffering, change, leadership, and life’s unfinished stories.
