John Stumbo

John liked life. John liked to run. John liked to preach. Then came October, 2008. It wasn't the flu. Who knew? 77 days is a long time to spend in the hospital. 18 months is a long time to not eat. But, God wasn't done yet.

John's back. Food tastes really good. Preaching is a pleasure as well. And running? Well, he's still working on that.

Joanna never planned on being a caregiver. John testifies that she was a great one. But she's glad to not have to do so much of that now.

Together, John and Joanna enjoyed raising their three children who have now joyfully provided them with four grandchildren.

The Stumbos live in Colorado Springs, Colorado where John serves as the 12th president of the Christian and Missionary Alliance.
