Jr. William E. Cornell

William E. Cornell, Jr. during his early childhood lived in Cleveland, OH before his parents moved to a small, then rural, community of Twinsburg, OH. Upon graduating from Twinsburg high school, he attended Kent State University after which he pursued a brief career in education. This was followed by lengthy career in corporate real estate. Retiring in 2002, necessitated by the development of cancer, he continued a lifetime of sailing the Great Lakes punctuated with skiing in Canada, Europe, as well as, the U.S. until age and health dictated a less vigorous life style. His first two books ("Tales of a Great Lakes Sailor" and "Railroading with the Cornells") are reflections of his personal experiences. "Geltersburg" his first novel, is about the evolution of Nazi Germany into a modern, once again united, nation. He presently lives with his wife Carol in Twinsburg, Ohio where he continues to monitor real estate investments and pursues writing opportunities.
