Gunnar Roxen is a work of fiction. Half-English, half-Swedish Gunnar grew up in the forested heartlands of Sweden. Raised with the myths and sagas, Gunnar grew up with the stories of gods and goddesses of Asgard, the frost giants of Jontunheim and the Viking traders, raiders and settlers. He grew up with the sense of freedom learned while tracking elk in the northern forests.
In the UK he gained his passion for exploring. Old train stations, abandoned hospitals, and crumbling films sets were fertile hunting grounds for his imagination. In another life Gunnar has been a games designer, serial entrepreneur, an activist, a science communicator and a whole lot of trouble. Gunnar lives in Oxford with his wonderful wife and two cats.
Gunnar has a strong passion for detective fiction, adventure novels and science fiction. His favourite authors include Richard Morgan, Tony Hillerman, Clive Cussler, James Lovegrove, HP Lovecraft, China Mieville and Arthur Conan Doyle.
