Barbara Huffman

Barbara Huffman is the founder of Norwichtales.com, a popular website with Norwich Terrier enthusiasts since 2002. Many respected Norwich Terrier breeders make her website a “must read” for prospective puppy buyers. While fascinated with the study of canine behavior, her expertise lies in the everyday living with and loving of the Norwich Terrier.

Barbara grew up in Michigan, and has always loved animals, especially dogs. She learned to read at an early age, and wrote short stories as child, hoping one day to find the inspiration for a book. Norwich Tales the website was the first step toward Norwich Tales the book. Over the years, faithful visitors to the website encouraged her to write a book about the Norwich Terrier, something she is clearly passionate about, but it wasn’t until a the death of her beloved Divot, did she turn grief into action, honoring her dear friend, and realizing a childhood dream.

Barbara is co-owner of Huffman Media with her husband Michael, and is the Communications Director at a Charlotte, NC based firm. The Huffman’s live in a suburb of Charlotte, NC with their elderly gentleman Norwich Terrier, Nigel.
