Donna Shea

Donna Shea is an author and educator with a B.A. in Behavioral Science and more than two decades of experience helping children build confidence, friendships, and real-world skills.

She is the founder of Peter Pan Publishing and the Peter Pan Center for Social and Emotional Growth. Her books range from practical resources for parents and educators to children's stories that explore friendship, emotions, confidence, and the everyday Growing Powers kids develop along the way.

Donna has advanced training and certifications in Positive Psychology, Cognitive Behavioral Coaching, Bullying Prevention, and Pathological Demand Avoidance. She is also co-author of the How to Make & Keep Friends books and workbooks.

Whether she is writing for children or the adults who support them, Donna's goal is the same: to make complicated social and emotional skills easier to understand, practical to use, and a little more fun.
