Todd Lowry

I am a songwriter pianist, author, arranger and educator who lives in Albuquerque, NM where I am music director for a popular non-profit kid's dance program, music director at a church and the organist for the Albuquerque Isotopes, Triple-A Pacific Coast League baseball team. I've written 20 piano instructional books published by Hal Leonard where I was a staff arranger in the 1980's and for whom I wrote more than 3,000 arrangements. I am also a licensed attorney and I was the Director of Business Affairs for Hal Leonard in the 1990's. I am an award-winning songwriter and I arranged music for a Grammy-nominated album. I have a B.A. in music from Macalester College, a Masters in Music Education from the University of North Texas and a J.D from the University of Minnesota Law School. I also studied at the New England Conservatory. In the early 1980's two of the Wooten Brothers played in my lounge band--Reggie and Roy (aka Future Man). I've recorded 12 CDs. I'm very eclectic and have played numerous styles of music professionally--including classical, jazz, blues, rock, country, reggae, R & B, new age, Broadway, and boogie-woogie.
