Dr. Chris A. Buzzetta, Ph.D. was born in Jamestown, ND in 1968, and grew up in Rapid City, SD from the age of 7 until starting college. Another large part of his family is in Brooklyn, NY, which is also like a second home, and all along the East Coast.
Today he teaches in the Saint Paul Public Schools' Early Childhood Family Education program (ECFE) in Minnesota as a parent educator, working with families whose children are 0-5 years old. He has taught parent education since 1999, and has worked with families from all walks of life. His doctoral degree is in Education: Curriculum & Instruction - Family, Youth, and Community from the University of Minnesota. He is working on designing online parent education for parents of K-12 students. In addition, he has taught as an adjunct faculty member at the University of Minnesota and Concordia University.
Currently, he lives in Minneapolis, Minnesota with his spouse of 22 years. One of his favorite quotes was from a 5-year-old boy after watching a dolphin show at the Minnesota Zoo, "It was better than pizza!" How can you argue with that?
