Hannah Stuart

Hannah Stuart was born in Pennsylvania, and grew up poor in a small village. As time passed, the family moved to New York when she was eleven. Later, Ms. Stuart was the first in the family to earn a college degree in education. For over ten years Ms. Stuart taught in Florida and New York. Her first book, Hitches and Ditches on the Erie Canal was written as a labor of love for her students to learn in an interesting format. She graduated with honors and has earned the Volunteer of the Year Award from the Boys and Girls Club. Her how to books are an extension of her love of learning for all.
