Hi! Welcome and thanks for visiting! I'm a Senior Citizen who has been living with type 1 diabetes since 1993. The Little Red Sports Car, and Winston the Amazing Dog, and Boots the Giant Killer are all the result of my own experience of living with this challenging disease. Diabetes to me is like a wily opponent that I am constantly trying to out-smart. Sometimes diabetes gets the better of me, but that just challenges me to try harder to beat it - or at least control it. The three books which I have written are all analogies of what living with diabetes is like. They're geared towards young children and are written in a way that, I hope, will make sense to them. My prayer is that these books will give them hope that they can live a normal life - just with a few adjustments. The books could also be used by an adult who has diabetes, to explain to a child what living with diabetes is like. I would love to hear from you - etroutt3@gmail.com
