Abby Hanlon

Abby Hanlon is the author and illustrator of Dory Fantasmagory, a chapter book series for 5-to 9-year-olds. The books have been translated into 24 languages. Abby's first picture book Ralph Tells A Story is widely used in elementary school classrooms. She also illustrated Chester Van Chime Who Forgot How to Rhyme by Avery Monsen. Abby is a former first grade teacher. She has a master’s degree in childhood education from the City College of New York and a bachelor’s from Barnard College.
